What We Do
Tourism Promotion & Visitor Information
We promote Parys, its accommodation, restaurants, shops, attractions, activities, events and local businesses through our website, social media platforms and Visitor Information Centre.
We help visitors discover where to stay, what to do, where to eat, where to shop and what’s happening in Parys — encouraging them to stay longer, explore more and support local.
Parys Crater Camino
The Parys Crater Camino offers visitors an opportunity to explore the extraordinary landscape, heritage and character of the Parys area on foot.
We promote the Camino as a distinctive Parys experience that combines walking, nature, history, discovery and community.
Parys History Room
Situated at our premises at 85 Bree Street, the Parys History Room preserves and shares the stories, photographs and heritage that have shaped our town.
It provides residents and visitors with an opportunity to discover Parys beyond what they see today and understand the people and events behind its story.
Crater Exhibition
Our Crater Exhibition introduces visitors to the fascinating story of the Vredefort impact structure and the remarkable geological landscape surrounding Parys.
It adds another dimension to the visitor experience and helps tell the extraordinary story of the area in which our town is situated.
Art Exhibition
